Jon Karlen – Jon is a Louisville native has experience in residential home sales, horse farms, and commercial real estate development. Jon has extensive experience in high end negotiation, and complex transactions. This experience allows him to provide clear guidance for his clients. Jon’s duties for the real estate team include working with buyers to help them find a home that matches their needs, the online marketing for our listings, as well as maintaining the internet web assets & websites for the team.
Jon’s family lived for decades in the locale where Lake Forest now resides. Jon grew up fishing & hiking this area and is very familiar with the entire community as it has evolved over the years.
Jon is a former US Army officer, and attended Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on a full academic scholarship (Army 4 year ROTC scholarship in conjunction with a Rose-Hulman Honors scholarship). Jon graduated from Rose-Hulman with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In Jon’s free time, he enjoys international travel, and snow skiing.
